Well done you
You little star!
I started the business in 1986 with my late husband David. At that time there were no blank cards only ones with verses and I wanted to say my own words! Tell my own story! So I went out and found the companies who made the cards, opened a shop and found that there were hundreds, thousands of people like me who loved cards!
They're still there, and so am I.
We all love them! They are funny, tender, artistic, gentle, awesome, charming, inspirational. They tell of our special days, our happy days, the sad ones, the joyous congratulatory ones, the bleak ones and the beginning of it all ones! They don’t have words in them … unless they are used to amuse one … just glorious images and blank space on which to write your words.
Tell your own story!
Our cards change daily, please visit our Facebook page to see our new collections.
We love to hear them! We are people who love to communicate. Who love to tell other people we
care about them. Tell them we are sorry. Tell them we love them. Ask them to come and have a cuppa.
We congregate in a small shop in a beautiful part of a beautiful city. We laugh and we share experiences every day of the week. Then we stick a stamp on the front and share them some more!! Wonderful!
Here’s what some of you have said:
Please send us your comments and tell us how we can make it even better for you!
Or if, heaven forbid, we have done something that you don’t like please let us know that
too. Then we can make amends and sort it out!
I am a Scot. I love this city and I love a special part of this beautiful country … Perthshire. I have a cottage there and escape up to it when I can. Because I can’t be there all the time, I also rent it out as a holiday home for those who love Perthshire as well. It was a sad little place when I bought it in 2008 and I had the best of times making it feel gorgeous again. Such a joy! It has a garden that has a gate that leads to the woods and a burn. There is an owl in the wood and the Ospreys fly up the burn to the loch in the summer. It is a magical place.
